The residence at 8 Torrey Pines Lane spans 7,286 sq. ft. on a 0.26-acre lot, featuring 5 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, and a rare underground garage engineered for up to 15 vehicles. Presented unfurnished and designed for a discerning luxury buyer, the home required a photographic narrative that communicated architectural integrity, craftsmanship, and spatial clarity—without the visual noise of interior décor. Corbin Reeves partnered with Marc to capture the home in its purest state, using architectural photography and luxury digital staging to produce a portfolio-defining visual collection.

🟫 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The Big Canyon project reflects the quiet luxury and disciplined craftsmanship that define Corbin Reeves Construction. The goal was to create a high-fidelity visual story that honored the architecture, showcased the craftsmanship, and supported the builder’s objectives: strengthening brand presence, attracting future clients, and preparing the home for market and award submission. Over the course of the project, Marc produced 40 editorial-quality images, capturing daylight and twilight exteriors, interior architecture, high-end materiality, landscaped outdoor spaces, and digitally staged hero rooms. These visuals elevate the residence’s presentation in a way consistent with its estimated market value of ~$11.28M.

🟧 THE CHALLENGE

The home needed to be photographed prior to furnishings, a strategic decision by the builder to preserve the purity of the architectural vision. Photographing a luxury home unfurnished introduces unique complexities: the images must communicate scale, flow, and lifestyle without relying on interior décor. The timeline was tight, as the home needed to be documented before client furnishings were installed. Corbin Reeves also required a carefully curated visual narrative that aligned with their brand’s aesthetic discipline and would serve future award submissions. Capturing architectural clarity, material sophistication, and spatial proportion—all without furnishings—was central to the challenge.

🟦 THE SOLUTION

Marc developed a tailored architectural capture plan that combined natural-light editorial photography with luxury digital staging. The interior and exterior photography highlighted the home’s sculptural lines, open-plan volumes, ceiling heights, millwork, stonework, and seamless indoor–outdoor transitions—elements essential to coastal luxury architecture. Twilight captures added emotional depth, emphasizing geometric massing, landscape illumination, and a warm interior glow visible from the terraced yard and patios.

Digital staging was executed for the kitchen, living room, dining room, and family room. This staging was deliberately restrained—minimal, modern, and proportionally aligned—chosen to complement the architecture rather than overpower it. Furnishings were scaled precisely to room dimensions to help buyers understand volume and layout while preserving the clean architectural narrative intended by the builder. Through direct collaboration with Corbin Reeves, every key detail—from the staircase geometry and spa-style primary bath to outdoor spaces and façade composition—was documented with the builder’s brand in mind.
